Here is the thing about November in London. It creeps up on you. One minute the autumn leaves are crunching under your feet, the next you're leaving work in the pitch black, wondering where the year went. So we're doing what Irish women have always done when the cold sets in. We're gathering. On the 4th of November, we're taking over a room in Covent Garden, filling it with brilliant women, delicious food, and a few good drinks, and marking Samhain the way we know best.

Samhain was always the big one. Before it became Halloween, it was the night the harvest ended, the fires were lit, and everyone piled in together to see out the dark half of the year. That's the whole spirit of this. Beo na Samhain means the life of Samhain, and that's exactly what we're after. A room that's alive.

What to expect

Gilgamesh in Covent Garden is all low light and rich colour. Arrive from 6.30pm for drinks and networking, and settle in for an evening of good company.

This is our last night together before the year is out, a chance to celebrate everything 2026 brought and to set our intentions for the year ahead. So we want you dressed for it. Think Practical Magic. Florals and frills, something you feel wonderful in, a bit of autumn romance. Midnight margaritas optional, but wholeheartedly encouraged.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re no longer able to host live music. What we will have is great chats, good fun and loads of brilliant connections, the way only Irish women know how. Come and celebrate everything 2026 brought and set your intentions for the year ahead.
