WIN Past Events
At WIN, no two events are the same and that’s exactly the point. One month you might be listening to an award-winning Irish author in Bankside, the next you’re learning from a nutrition expert, joining a make-up masterclass, or sharing a glass of wine at a Samhain celebration overlooking the Thames. Some events are big and busy, whilst others are small and intimate. All of our events are built around the same idea: Irish women are stronger, braver and more inspired when we come together.
You’ll see a mix of members-only, members-first and open events on this page. Members enjoy first access and discounted pricing, but many events are also open to non-members, so you can try WIN before deciding to join.
Why Become a WIN Member?
As a member, you enjoy priority access to some of the most in-demand events in the WIN calendar, from intimate dinners with leading Irish voices to panel discussions on women’s health, creativity, leadership and everything in between. You benefit from discounted tickets, members-first booking windows and invitations that simply aren’t available anywhere else.
Most importantly, you gain a network. Over time, you start to recognise faces, pick up conversations where they left off, and feel that welcome sense of being known. That’s the real value of WIN membership: the relationships you build and the doors those relationships quietly open.
Your Questions, Answered
-
Most WIN events are open to both members and non-members, with members receiving discounted tickets and early access. Some gatherings are members-only or “Members First”, which means members have priority booking before any remaining tickets are made available to our wider newsletter community. Each event listing will clearly state who it’s open to and how to book.
-
You don’t have to be a member to attend many of our events, but membership does unlock better pricing and priority booking. If you’re a member, make sure you’re logged in or monitoring the email associated with your membership so you receive notifications about discount codes and perks. If you’re not a member yet, attending one of our open events is a great way to experience the WIN community before joining.
-
In short: faster than you’d think. Many of our events, especially those with high-profile speakers or limited capacity (such as private dinners, panel events or theatre nights), sell out in a matter of days. If an event catches your eye, we always recommend booking as soon as possible rather than waiting. Once tickets are gone, we’re rarely able to add more.
-
We work closely with our partner venues to ensure our events are as accessible as possible. Most of our venues have step-free access and accessible facilities, but as each location is different, we recommend checking the access information on the venues website. If you have specific access needs or questions, please contact us before booking so we can support you.
-
Our refund policy can vary slightly depending on the event and the venue’s requirements, but in general, we ask for as much notice as possible if you can no longer attend. Where we can, we’re happy for you to transfer your ticket to another eligible attendee and will outline the process for doing so.
If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, we will always contact you directly with your options.
-
To capture the energy of our community, many WIN events include photography and video. These images may be used on our website, social channels and promotional materials. We always aim to be respectful, if you prefer not to appear in photos, simply let a member of the WIN team know on the night and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

We love hearing from our community. If you have an idea for a speaker, theme, collaboration or venue. Or you represent an organisation that would like to work with WIN, you can get in touch via our Contact page or email info@womensirishnetwork.com. Many of our most memorable events started as a member’s suggestion, so please don’t be shy.
