WIN Breakfast: Making Women’s Voices Heard

Join us for an empowering morning at the Bankside Hotel on Thursday, 1st of May, as the Women’s Irish Network presents a special session with media training experts Julia Barry and Keith Doyle of Media Woman.

With decades of experience at BBC and other major news outlets, Julia and Keith founded Media Woman to tackle the stark gender imbalance in expert representation across the media. Since 2012, they have helped hundreds of women, from senior executives to rising professionals, step up, speak out, and own their space in the public eye.

Meet the Media Experts

Julia Barry spent 30 years at the BBC, including as Deputy Editor of BBC Breakfast, where she oversaw hundreds of hours of live TV and coached correspondents to shine on screen. She understands exactly what makes a great communicator and what makes even the most knowledgeable speaker seem uninspiring.

Keith Doyle, a Dublin-born journalist, has spent over 30 years reporting for BBC, ITN, Channel 5, and RTE. Having interviewed thousands of people and produced TV programs and documentaries, he knows how to craft a compelling message and deliver it with confidence. His relaxed, engaging approach makes media training both insightful and enjoyable.

What will you learn?

  • Gain exclusive media insights from two leading professionals.

  • Learn how to confidently share your expertise on TV, radio, and digital platforms and even in the board-room.

  • Network with like-minded Irish women living and working in London.

Spaces are limited for this event and are set to sell out quickly.
