The WIN Story
WIN is a voluntary organisation that provides a space where women can network in a positive and relaxed atmosphere.
Ultimately, our aim is to help women feel more confident and to bring them closer to achieving their ambitions in life.
Founded in 1998 by Nessa O’Neill and Mary Clancy, WIN was set up to help Irish women overcome challenges they encountered in the workplace.
The Women’s Irish Network has since evolved into an organisation that welcomes all women of Irish heritage and hosts events where women enjoy the camaraderie that leads to enduring friendships and business relationships.
Supporting Our Community
WIN has raised over £596,000 in aid of charity.
WIN has awarded over £20,000 in Arts and Education Bursaries.
Inspiring & Connecting
Every year we host a broad range of live and online events where women can enjoy the camaraderie that leads to important business relationships and enduring friendships.
WIN is widely known for hosting industry leading speakers at our Business Breakfasts. Previous speakers have included Trish Halpin, editor-in-chief at Marie Claire and Orielle Cullen, Christian Dior Curator.
Late Autumn we are joined by a panel of esteemed guests for our A Collective View series which has included speakers such as Baroness Betty Boothroyd, Baroness Morgan, Darina Allen, Mary McKenna MBE and Jayne Ronayne.
WIN also hosts thought-provoking talks on social and political issues. Examples include; a brilliant talk by President Mary McAleese focusing on Brexit issues and a panel discussion on the 8th Amendment, ahead of the referendum vote in Ireland.
We encourage new members to join and be a part of defining our exciting growth and development, as we build on our rich history and push boundaries in the years to come.
Have a suggestion or idea for an event? We would love to hear from you!
